My Pet Hate...

I've never thought that I had a pet hate until the other day. I've only realised that I hate it when people say 'broke' instead of 'broken'. Although this is a pathetic pet hate, it really does annoy me.
I've always been correcting people in my head when I've heard people say it but I've only just realised that this is my pet hate the other day. I overheard a boy, older than me saying 'My laptop is broke', this immediately annoyed me.

My favourite film..

I don't have a specific favourite film, my top three are 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging', 'Wild Child' and 'Just Go With It'.

I would say that 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging' is my favourite chick flick, I can watch it over and over again without getting bored. The sypnosis of this film is quite simple but still quite an exciting and original idea. This film is based on a book written by Louise Rennison which is about a normal teenage girl fighting through the 'traumas' of being a teen including her embarrassing 'ancient' parents. This film is directed by Gurinda Chadha who has directed other popular films including: Bend It Like Beckham and Bride & Prejudice. 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging' includes comedy throughout the film making it a very loved film worldwide.
'Wild Child' is also another chick flick which contains comedy, I can also watch this over and over again. When Poppy Moore's dad runs out of patience with his daughter, she is forced to move to a strict English boarding school, Abbey Mount, which her mother attended when she was younger. On her first day, she made enemies with her room mates and Harriet, the school lacrosse captain. She decided to misbehave to try and get kicked out of the school, doing anything that was possible.
'Just Go With It' is about a man called Danny must engage his close friend Katherine who is also his faithful assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife. Danny lied to his 'dream girl' who is called Palmer about having a wife. Although, Danny didn't know that one lie would lead to another.
